The Norwegian Garrison is the local chapter of the 501st Legion in Norway.
The 501st Legion is a worldwide costuming organization who build high quality replicas of the “bad guy” costumes from the Star Wars universe. Our costumes represent the Empire, Sith, smugglers, bounty hunters and other “evil” characters. We strive to make them as close as possible to what we see in the movies.
In addition to creating a network of costume builders and Star Wars enthusiasts who have fun together, we work to make a difference in our local communities. Much of our work is in support of a good cause.
Norwegian Garrison’s main focus is charities aimed at children. We attend hospital visits, fundraisers and charity events in our costumes, contributing by raising money and spreading joy, love and excitement.
We also do other types of events, such as weddings, film premieres, fairs, book days, school visits, etc.
